TDHS Homeless Shelter
The Temple De Hirsch Sinai Women’s Shelter hosts 10 homeless women overnight Monday through Friday nights in September-May. We need volunteers willing to drive the TDHS vans to get the women from Noel House and take them back to Angeline’s Center the next morning. Volunteers will also serve an evening snack and a light breakfast in the morning. For more information or to volunteer, please contact Myles or Megan Kahn.
YouthCare Orion Center
Join with Temple Beth Am members in providing dinner to about 40 homeless and in crisis youth on the 5th Wednesday of the month. The location is the YouthCare Orion Center located at 1828 Yale Avenue, Seattle. We create these meals by asking for volunteers to contribute particular items each month. To get involved with this project, please contact Susan Simon and learn more on the YouthCare website.
