DESCRIPTION:Following our annual Beth Am Covenant Renewal service and cerem
 ony on Thursday\, May 21\, we’ll continue our Shavuot celebration with o
 ne of the holiday’s most fascinating and fun traditions: Tikkun Leil Sha
 vuot\, a late-night study gathering that invites us to stay up learning\, 
 questioning\, singing\, tasting\, and exploring together.\nShavuot celebra
 tes the giving of Torah at Mount Sinai\, and the Tikkun Leil tradition ima
 gines us preparing ourselves to receive Torah anew. At Beth Am\, that mean
 s an evening of lively\, creative\, and unexpected learning\, with three 4
 5-minute study slots beginning at 8:30 PM and continuing late into the eve
 ning. Each time slot will offer multiple study options\, featuring wonderf
 ully wacky\, niche\, and thought-provoking topics connected to the holiday
  through text\, art\, music\, food\, ritual\, history\, and more.\nAnd of 
 course\, because it’s Shavuot\, there will be breaks for cheesecake and 
 other dairy delights along the way.\nWhether you are a lifelong learner\, 
 a Shavuot beginner\, a lover of Jewish trivia\, a fan of strange texts\, o
 r just someone who likes the idea of Torah and cheesecake after dark\, thi
