Our community joins together to welcome the Jewish New Year 5873.

We look forward to welcoming 5783 in both new and familiar ways to inspire, comfort, and renew. As the shofar blasts, let us come together and create our spiritual home. 

Below is the full schedule of Beth Am’s High Holy Day services and experiences as well additional materials to make this sacred time meaningful and enriching for the entire family.

Please RSVP for in-person services. This year, we are honored to welcome back your non-member guests to our High Holy Day services and meals. Guest tickets can be purchased for your guests through the same form!

Family Services Experience & Community Tashlich
Monday, September 26th Family Services: 4:30 PM | Community Reverse Tashlich: 5:00 PM
This experience will be a wonderful way for families with younger children to celebrate the New Year outside with songs, stories, shofar, and the beauty of nature (and all are welcome). Then, our whole community will join for Tashlich. This year, we are also participating in Tikkun HaYam’s Reverse Tashlich to clean up trash from the waterfront.

This year our High Holy Day services will include a sacred mixture of classic Temple Beth Am melodies, contemporary reform music, and an exploration of world Jewish music to make a meaningful and dynamic worship experience. 

Music is a wonderful way to prepare for the new year. As the Days of Awe approach, we invite you to listen to the music we will be celebrating and reflecting with in 5783.

Covid Safety Updates: August 26, 2022

As our High Holy Day services are large indoor gatherings, masks will still be required indoors. We ask that you only remove your mask indoors while eating or drinking. Masks are optional outdoors. Vaccination is required for all who are eligible at all Temple Beth Am events.
