Calling all young adults! Join Rabbi Jesse for a special Lag BaOmer celebration on Monday evening, May 4 at 7:00pm at a local brewery (location to be announced upon sign-up). This event marks the launch of Temple Beth Am’s new Jews & Brews series in which we’ll gather at local Seattle breweries for delicious craft beer, gripping text study, and a chance to connect with friends, old and new.
We’ll raise a glass to this joyful, lesser-known holiday (first drink on us) and explore the curious origins of its most distinctive customs: bonfires, bows and arrows, tomb pilgrimages, and more.
Come ready to learn something new, connect with others, and enjoy a great local brew.
