Seattle by Water: Day of Adventure Touring by BoatCome enjoy a day on the water with friends aboard a 46 foot yacht! We’ll begin our cruise in Elliott Bay, seeing downtown up close from the water, then head past Discovery Park to the Ballard Locks. We’ll transit the locks and head through the Ship Channel into Lake Union for an up close tour of the floating homes, boat communities and Seattle skyline. We’ll head East into Portage Bay and through the Montlake Cut into the open waters of Lake Washington. Depending on the timing of our trip there may be an opportunity for some swimming in either Lake Washington or Lake Union. We’ll wind our day down with a trip back through the Ballard Locks, ending our journey at Elliot Bay Marina. Lunch, snacks, and drinks will be provided on our cruise.

Shabboat – Shabbat Cruise and Dinner “on the hook” in Puget SoundSOLD OUT!
4 guests will depart late in the afternoon aboard the Klastorin’s Nordic Tug 37, “Galaxy” and 4 guests will depart from Elliot Bay Marina aboard the Berkman’s “Yofi” a little sister-ship Nordic 32. We will drop anchor and raft up for a “Shabboat” meal before returning to the dock around dusk.
Of course, safety is our main concern. We will reschedule in the event that conditions are not favorable for a safe and peaceful Shabbat experience.
We have adult Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs) as required by the Coast Guard. If you bring along a kiddo, you will need to provide a suitable PFD.

Creative Opportunities
Pearls (or knot) and Afternoon TeaCome make pearl-knotted bracelets from pearls and/or semi-precious gemstones. You’ll have time to make at least one bracelet, and maybe two! For those already adept at pearl-knotting or the extra adventurous, you can start on a mala-style necklace instead (although you may need to finish it at home).

Participants will create a 6″ x 6″ piece of unique art from re-purposed materials. The art piece will have programmable LEDs in which you may choose the color patterns and display patterns.
