Young Adults at Beth Am (YABA) is a new group created to serve Jews in their 20’s and 30’s in a Reform context. We are based in the North End of Seattle but hold events all around the area. Newcomers welcome!
We seek to create a Jewish community that is welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant. We meet once a month for social events, holiday celebrations, Shabbat dinners and social action projects.
Past events have included a Saki and Latke Hanukkah gathering, Shabbat Dinner and Game Night, Barbeque at Golden Gardens, attending the Jewish Film Festival and more.
Everyone is welcome regardless of your background, observance level, etc. You don't have to be a member of Temple Beth Am in order to be part of YABA. For more information, contact Program Director Alysa Rosen, 206-525-0915.

Saturday, September 25, 5-6 pm Sukkot is perhaps the most “environmentally-oriented” of the three ancient pilgrimage festivals. In Jewish tradition, it is a mitzvah “to dwell in the Sukkah” and reflect on how we can relate more purposefully to our fragile natural environment.
Join Rabbi Jonathan Singer in exploring the connection between Sukkot and sustainability, Jewish values around environmentalism, and tips on how to make Sukkot a truly “green” holiday. Make your own organic mojitos and enjoy a little nosh with YABA in the Singer’s Sukkah as we celebrate the New Year together.
Please RSVP to Alysa Rosen or click "attending" on our facebook event page.
